CTET Online Application

The official website has activated the CTET Online Application Link 2023. To avoid any last minute rush, the eligible candidates must carefully fill and submit their applications well in advance of the last date of submission which is 26th May 2023. To avoid disqualification, candidates must ensure that their online applications are accurate and complete.

What are the eligibility criteria for ctet ?

The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has issued a notification regarding the updated eligibility criteria for Teacher Training Course (TTC) candidates for the CTET examination. As per the notification, candidates enrolled in teacher education courses can apply for the CTET exam.

Candidates who intend to appear in the CTET 2023 exam should go through the eligibility criteria carefully before submitting the online application. The eligibility criteria for CTET 2023 for Primary and Upper Primary level examinations are as follows:

Candidates must pass 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks to be eligible for primary level teacher.

Candidates must have passed at least 50% aggregate marks or passed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university to be eligible for appointment as High School Teacher.

Please note that candidates belonging to reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC/Differently pale can avail up to 5% relaxation in qualifying marks. Applicants who are in the last year of a bachelor’s degree in pedagogy or a diploma in elementary education, etc. will be provisionally accepted. What is ctet exam pattern 2023 ?

The upcoming 2023 CTET exam will have two separate papers, known as CTET Paper 1 and CTET Paper 2. Those interested in teaching classes I to V will have to take Paper 1, while Paper 2 is for individuals who want to teach classes VI to VIII . Applicants who wish to teach both levels must complete both documents.

Paper 1 will contain questions from Mathematics and Science, with 30 multiple choice questions from each subject, totaling 60 marks. Alternatively, Social Science/Social Studies teachers will answer 60 MCQs for 60 marks. Incorrect answers will not be scored negatively.

What is the Honors Curriculum ?

CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) 2023 will have two papers which are paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 is for those who want to become teachers for classes I to V while paper 2 is for those who want to teach classes VI to VIII. If someone wants to teach both levels, they will have to appear in both papers.

What Type of the questions asked ?

If you are planning to take the CTET 2023 exam, it is important to understand the types of questions you will be asked. There are two papers: Paper-I for those who want to teach children aged 6-11 years and Paper-II for those who want to teach children aged 12-13 years. Child development and pedagogy questions will focus on child psychology and teaching methods, while language sections will test your expertise in teaching and communicating through language. Math, EDS and Social Studies are also part of the exam and will test your knowledge of basic concepts and theories. You will also be tested on your understanding of how to apply pedagogical principles in teaching.

CTET Exam July 2023: admit card

You can download the CTET 2023 Admit Card from CBSE official website as soon as it is available. It will not be mailed to interested parties. To access the admit card, candidates need to login to their registered account using their registration or registration number and date of birth or password. Usually the admit card is issued 10 to 20 days before the exam date. A direct link will be provided to access the admit card and hall ticket which can be obtained two days before the exam.

The CTET exam is conducted in two shifts – the first shift is for Primary (Paper I) and the second shift is for Higher Primary (Paper II). Validity of the Ctet certificate

The validity of the TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) certificate has been extended from 7 years to lifetime. This is retroactive to 2011. There is no limit to the number of times a person can attempt the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certification. Even if a person has passed the CTET exam, he can retake the test to improve his score. This means that the CTET certificate is valid for lifetime.
